Bug reports and feature requests
We have worked hard to eliminate as many bugs as possible and we would like
to think that we succeeded in finding them all. That, however, is not realistic
thinking. It is very likely that bugs are still present in the JCL. If you
found one we would really like to know about it.
Please never contact the author of the code directly. In any event, when you
submit a bugreport please observe that the report should be detailed enough for us to (attempt to) reproduce it. If you have any code to reproduce the problem
please attach it to the bug report. Detailed steps are mandatory for us to understand and
solve your problem.
Our issue tracking tool can be accessed via
http://jcl.sourceforge.net/itrack. You can enter and keep track
of bug reports as well as of feature requests. The general rule is:
If you want to get a bug fixed you need to log it!
An detailed step by step guide on how to succesfully report a bug is available here as well. The JEDI issue tracker is based up on the Mantis BugTracker Open Source project. More background information about it is available on its homepage.
