MySQLDirect .NET Data Provider is a full-featured .NET data provider for direct access to MySQL Server for the Microsoft .NET Framework. 100% managed MySQLDirect .NET is an alternative of using ODBC or OLE DB providers. It uses native MySQL programming interface to access to MySQL database that allows to create lightweight and fast applications working with MySQL.
Completely based on ADO.NET technology, MySQLDirect .NET data provider can be used in the same way as the standard provider. Besides standard ADO.NET core classes such as MySqlConnection, MySqlCommand, MySqlDataReader and MySqlDataAdapter MySQLDirect .NET provider supports MySqlCommandBulder for automatic generation update,
insert and delete SQL statements, MySqlScript for execution series of SQL commands.
Provider enables you to monitor SQL execution by using special utility DBMonitor.
Also MySQLDirect .NET provides advanced design-time abilities. It has editors for MySqlCommand, MySqlDataAdapter, MySqlParameters, design-time generation of commands for update, insert and delete, dataset generation wizard, preview data dialog.
Supports Query Builder integrated at design-time for visual building of the queries.
