PostgreSQLDirect .NET Data Provider is a full-featured .NET data provider for direct access to PostgreSQL Server for the Microsoft .NET Framework.
To reach high performance it uses native message-based protocol for communication with PostgreSQL server. It allows to use 100% managed code and doesn't require any client's software.
Completely based on ADO.NET technology, PostgreSQLDirect .NET data provider can be used in the same way as the standard provider. Besides standard ADO.NET core classes such as PostgreSqlConnection, PostgreSqlCommand, PostgreSqlDataReader and PostgreSqlDataAdapter
PostgreSQLDirect .NET provider supports PostgreSqlCommandBulder for automatic generation update, insert and delete SQL statements.
It provides monitoring abilities for SQL execution by using special utility DBMonitor and advanced design-time abilities.
